Delaware-based Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announced that it will unveil new table games in both June and July.

According to company press materials, the new games to be installed and unveiled include:

• World Poker Tour Heads-up Hold’em—This table game is just like standard Texas Hold’em, but has a new bad beat bonus. For instance, when a straight flush is beaten by a royal flush, the straight is paid out 500 to 1.

• Dragon Bonus—This side wager on mini baccarat that pays when a hand is a natural winner or when it wins by a large margin. The highest payout, 30 to 1, is for a non-natural that wins by nine points.

• High Card Flush—Arriving in June, a player can win a 300 to 1 payout on a 7-card flush and 8,000 to 1 for a 7-card straight flush on this new table game.

• Big 6 Wheel—This game allows a player to win up to 45 times his original wager in a single spin. Schedule to arrive in July, Big 6 Wheel is so named because there are six different wagers a player can make.

“All of these new games are highly popular and we are thrilled to get them on our floor,” said Sue Sylvia, director of table games in a prepared statement. “The extra bonuses make table game play even more exciting than the traditional game.”

Sylvia adds that in July she will enhance Pai Gow Poker with a no-commission format. “Players will really appreciate not having to give the house a dime, with all money going into the pot to be awarded to winning players.”
